Next week is my late father’s birthday. I was browsing through some of his vintage tailoring books that I was able to preserve and it struck me that the elements of style are forever.

I wore a huge grin as I thumbed through the pages of these books. I began thinking that clothing is not the only element of style but it is the most obvious. Style is not only how we look but also how we live. Our style should reflect that.

I cherish these books not only for their content but for what they represent. Here’s a toast to the tailors and designers like my father who have the ability to help us visually display both our internal and external style.
