Fountain pens – for a man of letters, or a woman with secrets. A way to live life out of the ordinary elevated from the mundane.
Who writes with a pen and paper anymore? Well, I do!
I’ll admit, not as often as I used to, but when taking notes or working through a writing or music project I will take pen in hand and express my thoughts and ideas on paper. The physical act of writing helps my thinking process. And for me, the best writing instrument to use is a fountain pen. Too young to know what a fountain pen is? Click here.
Fountain pens are a work of art and engineering. I have three Waterman pens.
The thin, brown one I use for signing formal documents, writing checks and composing notes to people.
I use the blue one for my writing projects or work-related notes.
And the green one for my music.
Writing with a fountain pen makes you feel important and takes you to a special place, if just for a moment.
That’s my style, what’s yours?
